As some of you know (or have guessed) the father of the household has been absent for the past twelve months due to a deployment in Afghanistan. But now, after a very long year, he’s back.
So while for us that means happy days are here again, lot’s of unpacking, relief etc. etc. what does that mean for you, dear readers? (because despite appearances to the contrary, it’s not all about me. Well, not all of the time.) Two main differences you might notice in the near future are
- More walking/hiking day trips and general outdoor adventures. Not that I am not in to them, but Steve is just better at organising them, and we seem to get out and do them more when he is at home.
- An improvement in the photographs on the site. Steve is a great photographer, whereas I am mediocre at best. So I will be
houndingasking him nicely to take lots of shots on our travels around the place.
Oh, and it means there are some cool additions to the maps of where we travelled last year and this year
